This is my design for the front of my school's 11th grade homecoming T-shirt. For the record, the theory of evolution is complete crap...but this is the theme I was told to draw from and it ended up being fun to draw. Painted in Photoshop =)

Evolution is crap? Kind of weird that you think that of a scientific theory which unite every field of biology, explains the diversity of lifeforms and is backed up by more evidence than the scientific theory of gravity.
I understand it may be because it makes your mythology false, but that's just reality.

What about evolution do you find unbelievable. The theory of evolution says nothing about the origin of life or the universe if this is indeed what you are refrencing your thinking of Abiogenesis and Physicle Cosmology. It's perfectly reasonable that god created everything and allowed it to change. Please don't use the made in his image argumant. God is a being that can take on many forms sometimes 3 at once therefor he has no definite physicle form. I believe when the Bible said we were made in his image it meant spiritualy not physicly. And when you think about intelegent desighn it's a heck of a lot smarter to let somthing change with it's envirment to survive instead of letting it die because it can't keep up with the crap happening around it.

Many different sources, actually. I like to know different theories about things before I share my opinion...I just finished the AP Biology program at my school (got a 5, so I did pay attention) and I read the textbook cover to cover to get the secular perspective on evolution as a theory, and also online and in scientific publications whenever I could. From the Christian/Creationist point of view, I arrived at my conclusions by merely looking at the discoveries scientists use to back their surety in evolution and looking at them from other perspectives. If you're interested in some of the convincing factors I looked at from the less-respected Creationist perspective, I suggest watching the documentary "Expelled" and checking out the website of a magazine called "Answers in Genesis" www.answersingenesis.org. Their tone can be a little holier-than-thou at times in defending their position, but I promise they're not just a bunch of crazy Christians. I'm not just a crazy Christian. I'm sorry I wrote you a bit of a book here, but I want to emphasize that I'm not trying to force my point of view on you or anyone else...I just want to make clear how I arrived at what I believe is the truth. Not through blind faith or wishful thinking or jumping to conclusions...but by careful examination of the facts and thinking for myself :)

I know your comment is 2 years old, but I just want to say that I'm really (very) surprised that even though you've taken AP bio, you still reject evolution.
I always attributed the rejection of evolution due to lack of knowledge, so your stance on evolution is quite shocking to me.

But hey, to each one's own.
